wonderful changes..

Wednesday and Thursday were my days off this week. Wednesday I went shopping then went up to Laura's house to see their new place, then we went out for sushi!

Thursday was Cam's b-day! During the day we went up to Robby's land and hung out and shot for a while, then we went to the casino, where we all had rooms for the night. We ate dinner with Cam's family at the steak house..it was yummy. Then we went outside, and Denna (Cam's mom) had gotten ahold of Cam's friends and had them all come up to the casino to celebrate with Cam! It was a lot of fun!

At one point during the night, Cam asked me to come back to our room....I keep the sappy details to myself, but...he asked me to be his girlfriend. It was very romantic..and of course I said YES!

Anyways.. After gambling and quite a bit of drinking, several of us got into the hot tub, which Cam and his brother Gabe thought was the swimming pool..lol, they had had quite a bit to drink! It was a blast!

Then Friday..it was back to work :(

So, this is kinda embarassing, but I honestly don't care. When I was in high school I lived with my dad at the Pines Apartments (I-70/Gage) anyway...I still feel that its my right to use their pool..so, I decided to go layout there today before work! haha! Nobody knows I don't live there..right? What is it about a tan that makes you feel better? I don't know, but I am happy summer is here for that reason!

I was off work Tuesday and Wedneday..my days off always go too fast!

Tuesday I had to go up to the range to shoot for a bit, then I had a sushi dinner date with Katie. It was yumm-o!
Wednesday I got my hair did, then went to Ryan's game with Katie...where I got POOPED on by a bird. It was sick...but funny!

Thursday it was back to work. Prior to going to work I had a bad morning to say the least...found out my ex had withdrawn almost my whole bank account, and then he decided to take the couch/tv stand. So...my living room looks like I moved out..lol

AHHH...thanks for letting me vent. I keep telling myself all of this unnecessary drama will end soon!

Well, Im back to work this evening...its already a better day than yesterday!
I have to work all weekend, so I probably won't have anything to report..

Wow, life has changed so much lately, where do I begin? In October I left for the academy in Yoder, KS (pretty much Hutch). It was a lot of fun, met a lot of really good people, and made several lasting friendships.

I'll spare you the hairy details/drama, but while I was down there, I made a life decision that I am 100% confident was the right one...I got a divorce. (and yes, its all final) It was difficult being so far from home, trying get things done, but one person inparticular was a wonderful support system for me, Cameron. Cameron was also going through a similar situation, and we just clicked.

So, I graduated in February from there, and started working as a Deputy for the Shawnee County Sheriff's Office. I am in my final phase of training; I have about 25 days until Im on my own, and bringing home the patrol car. It's so crazy how fast it has all happened! I love my job, I am truly blessed!

So, back to Cameron :) For those of you who have been lucky enough to meet him, I don't need to tell you how wonderful he is, and more importantly, how happy I am. I am sure you could tell that when you saw us together. We have not put any labels on this....whatever it is.... yet. I've decided that I'm done trying to predict my life..Im just gonna leave it up to God, and see what happens. :)

Well, I better go be productive!

So, after "following" the pages of a couple of girlfriends, I have decided to make my own blog. There is so much stuff on here, I have to keep asking Molly and Chelsey what to do! So..bare with me until I get things situated. I am going to try to blog daily, so you guys can keep up to date. Some days I may not have anything exciting to talk about, so if a blog seems silly..forgive me.
